Branicki's Palace in Bialystok. One of the most impressive baroque garden and palace complexes in Poland, called "Versailles of Podlasie". The palace, in the XVII-th century was the residence of the mightiest magnat in Poland, the Castellan of Cracow and the Grand Crown Hetman. At that time it was the centre of a vast residential complex, due to which grandeur Bialystok gained the name of the Polish Versailles.
