A peaceful and quiet place with resin-clear air, abundant flora and picturesque rural landscapes. There are places, where time stopped centuries ago, where one can see thatched houses, cranes by wells, fences made of wicker and windmills on hills. These terrains are a real paradise for ornithologists; we will have a chance to see rare European birds such as great white egrets and little egrets, heron, black storks and white-tailed eagles. The local rare and protected plants include the green horsetail, fir club-moss, ostrich fern, carnivorous plants and the hart's-tongue.
