Miedzyzdroje on Wolin Island is the summer capital of the West Pomerania region. Not everybody knows, however, that this health resort has a 150-year tradition. Boarding houses and hotels surrounded by trees, a seaside promenade on which holidaymakers can take walks on summer evenings, create enchanting atmosphere. The town is located between a wide beach with a high cliff coast and the wooded stretches of the Wolinski National Park, The clean waters of the Pomorska Bay, a favourable microclimate with therapeutic properties, wild nature and beautiful landscapes attract many people every year. The beautiful architecture of the boarding houses on the Promenade, the 300-metre-long pier and a port upholding fishing traditions are an unquestionable attraction for tourists.
Another attraction is the nearby Wolinski National Park, a bison reserve, a Museum of Nature, cliff coasts and Zielonka hill along with the park's pearl, the Turquoise Lake (a flooded chalk mine). 270 protected species of animals live in the park.
